In Writing HERstory, Ashley Lougheed uncovers the power of women's stories, and they are more alike than different. Regardless of dark or light times, the female experience is universal. We know the pain of trial and defeat and have faced internal and external challenges of all kinds. We've experienced catcalls, sister wounds, impostor syndrome, and limiting beliefs. But we also know how to problem solve, how to dig deep into ourselves to find our grit. We know the power and truth of women supporting women, and we recognize the value of leaning on our soul sisters for support.

Here, Ashley connects the dots of our stories to discover that while the pattern may change in its details and in female to female, the concrete evidence is strong: the pattern starts with acknowledging and celebrating our own self-worth and the worth of all women. Ashley Lougheed is the CEO and founder of Girl Time Inc., a social club for women and women in business. Her mission is to create a community-a Kula-for women, one where they can collaborate and create lifelong friendships, live a healthy and active lifestyle, and inspire each other to grow both individually and as a whole. Ashley has a diverse education, including an honors degree in sociology, a bachelor of education, a degree in interior design, and a certificate in event planning. She lives in Ontario, Canada, with her husband, two children, and Doberman pup.
