The Two Treatises of Government is a work of political philosophy anonymously published in 1689 by John Locke. It is often discussed as two separate works, although John Locke never published them separate.Preface reveals Locks intentions. He says that large part of what he had originally written has been lost and that he will not rewrite t=that part. Lost part was between First and Second Treatises.
