Dr. Marco Capitelli, a dashing archeologist from Bologna and Dr. Francesca Martini, curator of Vatican archives from the rival city of Parma, find themselves on successive expeditions in pursuit of historical treasures and brokering international peace. As their respective natures both intrigue and abrade one another, can they outwit their cunning, vicious foes-and find harmony in their own budding romance?

The descriptive prose and crisp dialogue keep the action moving at a steady clip, leaving the reader only to wonder when the kinetic, easily envisioned stories will make their way onto the silver screen."

"The past comes alive to haunt the present in The Silver Altar. An entertaining historical fiction written with eloquence and attention to detail. A story that compels the reader to recognize the impact on current events when lessons learned from history are ignored. The lively pace and interesting characters will keep the reader engaged."
