Tear Down the Iron Curtains

Do you expect an upheaval when a black man writes the Ku KluxKlan? Think again. There is an alternative to hatred. Tear Down theIron Curtains is a unique and necessary attempt to reconcile races, cultures, faiths, and other groups. Mankind began the twenty-firstcentury with unprecedented cultural, religious, and gang tensions.Suspicion among peoples with diverse ways of life has risen to an alltimehigh during the past decade. Terrorism is now a borderlessphenomenon that haunts every nation. Expressed and unexpressedbitterness among nations is making pessimists out of those whothought the world would no longer witness major conflicts. The menaceof gangs is not leaving our cities, and formerly nonviolentneighborhoods are becoming restless.Should the peace-loving majority of the people around the worldsubmit to these undesirable trends? It is not a clever choice to leave abitterly divided world to the coming generations. More than ever, theconscientious among us, regardless of their races, colors, andreligions, need to come together and speak up against intolerance. The world will lose its body, spirit, and soul to evil if fine men, women, and children keep mute when it matters. The outstanding Letter to theKKK is a deliberate effort to reconcile the diverse peoples everywhere.Mankind has no healthier option than fashioning a mutually supportivecivilization that curtails the intolerance of man by man. Tear Down theIron Curtains, a blend of diversity, nonviolence, social justice, and antigangthemes, has something for everyone, including youths, adults, institutions, and groups that oppose any form of hatred.
