Out of Time III

The Republic is barely two years removed from the revolution that freed them from the grip of the tyrannical rule of King Eliazar. The leading Senator is a racist and pushing for a war with their allies, the Night people, whom supported them during the revolution. Lee is the Vice prime Minister and hero trying to hold them together at all cost. Lee is a former Union Colonel and understands the tension better than anyone. He was the one who brokered the peace after ten centuries of hate. While this is going on Lee's brother is suddenly discovered to be alive on The Dragon Islands. With his son Marco they cross an ocean to find him. Along the way a pirate Lee thought dead turns up as an ally with the son of King Eliazar, Elijah. They ally with Atlantis and invade. Senator Dix rages in the Senate and on the streets in favor of Elijah's return as King. Lee's brother, Allen, befriends Sir Lancelot and Merlin while being hunted down by the ruler of Dragon Island, King Joe, after he stands up for his friend Daniel. On Allen's tail is Diamond James who has made this hunt personal. With New Allies and enemies Lee races back to The Republic for a fight of survival and democracy. With the barbarians threatening the gates of New Rome will they survive another onslaught to their hard-won revolution, or will they be hung and relegated to a footnote in their history?
