The second book in the Dark Horses series, Nevada Falls Red, picks up four years down the road, as John St Cyr has returned home to make sense of his life. He and his daughter are both getting older, and the memory of his wife has almost completely faded away.


With no immediate plans and no future considerations, he wanders around in a haze of despair and confusion. All the while, there is a sinking feeling in his stomach, a feeling that there is still some unfinished business. Does he have the courage to begin again?


One fateful day in February, he gets a visit from his old friend Cirrus, the woman that he met so many years ago in Las Vegas. Up until now, their long-distance relationship was friendly and uncomplicated, but she may want more from him.  What are her intentions and what is motivating her?


John feels that he has changed, and he knows that he has a mission to accomplish.  He knows that he needs to go after the four horseman and bring them to justice.  He understands that if he doesn’t, they will continue to kill innocent people. He could be the last hope for a dying world - a scary thought to him. He has a choice to make; live his life in obscurity or fulfill his destiny.  By the grace of God, He still has that choice.
