Description
A killer on the loose. A surfer out of his depth ...
Bo Curren was once a champion surfer. Now, at twenty-eight, he's all washed up - unable even to set foot near the ocean.
Instead, he spends his days alone in his apartment, drowning his sorrows in whiskey and watching surfers on his laptop via the 24-hour surf webcam.
Then one day he sees something he shouldn't. A camera trained on a deserted Byron Bay beach picks up a murder right there on the sand.
The police dismiss his report, and no bodies are found. Yet Bo knows what he saw.
And he has a clue: the murderer's distinctive surfboard. If he can track that down, he'll catch the killer.
But is he ready to dive back into a world where the rules are unspoken, outsiders aren't welcome, and where secrets can be as dangerous as the waves?
'The Lineup reads like a riptide. Once you're in it it won't let you go.' Michael Brissenden, author of Dust
'Authentic, compelling and frightening - think Point Break, but more realistic and far more sinister!' Margaret Hickey, author of Broken Bay
'A perfectly written book. Expertly researched and relevant. Nicholas Timms is an author to keep your eye on.' Matt Rogers, author of The Forsaken
'The Lineup crashes into the Australian crime scene with the force of a perfect wave - a tense debut that drags you under and doesn't let you surface until it's done. Highly recommend.' R.W.R. McDonald, author of The Nancys
'The kind of book that grabs you and doesn't let go, The Lineup will sweep you away in an adrenaline rush of action and intrigue, all the while exploring a poignant thread about trauma and grief.' Jess Kitching, author of The Life Experiment

Processing times
- In stock: Items marked “In Stock” are on our shelves. We pick, pack and ship them within 1–2 business days.
- In stock with our supplier: Items not marked “In Stock” are held by one of our Australian or overseas suppliers. We order them in for you and they usually dispatch within 2–5 business days (3–5 for some suppliers). The estimate next to the price is for this item.
- Special orders: Some supplier items, such as specialist and imported items, titles awaiting reprint and print-on-demand titles, take longer to arrive. If your order includes one, we’ll update you as soon as we hear from our supplier.
- Supplier delays: Occasionally a supplier is delayed, or their stock information turns out to be inaccurate. We’ll keep your order open for up to 60 days. If an item hasn’t shipped or isn’t on its way to us by then, we’ll cancel that item and refund it.
How accurate is availability?
Availability is based on the stock levels our suppliers tell us they hold, and we update it regularly. If a supplier issue affects your order, we’ll let you know with an updated estimate.

- Australia Post usually delivers within 2–10 business days of shipping (around 4 in metro areas and around 6 in regional areas).
