They had no choice to escape the draft notices unless they left the country. Vietnam veterans wanted to return to a normal life and sometimes to find a special someone. This story has conflicting characters, and the ending will be filled with tensions and worry. The author wanted to tell a story blended into the 60s and as a published writer, she wanted to make it similar to her own story.
