How To Succeed In Business By Busting Your Ass

Reading Jack Welch's biography, "Jack, Straight from the Gut," telling about his manner of running General Electric, dealing with employees, management and investment decisions, etc., I found myself thinking, "Hell, he didn't invent anything new." Most of us in business do those things every day of our lives. The difference between Jack Welch and more than 25 million small business men and women in the United States is we didn't have a corporate ladder to help us. We did it by ourselves. "How to Succeed in Business by Busting Your Ass" is a memoir of my 55 years as a manufacturer and supplier to the aircraft/ariline industry. This book is an easy read, humorous at times, a down-to-earth story, probably similar to the story of hundreds of thousand business men and women everywhere. It's filled with lessons learned and solid advice. It admits to mistakes and foolish adventures, even wild escapades like trying to be a movie producer and to own a football team. We've all had our good times and bad times in business. We've had painful experiences and joyful ones. We've had happy times and unhappy times. At times, we've even had fun. It's my hope this small book will inspire and encourage hard working business men and women everywhere who are busting their asses to succeed. This book is dedicated to all of you.
