I always wanted to be open about my surgery, but I felt as if I had to hide it, especially from church people. As the stigma against cosmetic surgery changes, more and more people are having procedures—1.7 million cosmetic surgeries in the U.S. in 2015 alone—but a lot of people are still keeping quiet about it.
I believe it is time for safe and authentic conversations about cosmetic surgery. How does cosmetic surgery impact life and relationships? This book examines the issue from a Christian worldview.
I weave my personal story throughout the book as I share what I’ve learned, along with research, history, and statistics. I also offer discussion questions at the end of each chapter.
