This part of Ben''s story begins soon after his marriage to the love of his life Sarah Humphery. Even greater than the Mission church he established in Yonkers, New York.After many good years as Chaplain, his Bishop sent him to pastor the church at Vernon, because of the change of Wardens at the prison, and the deleting of many of the good programs Ben had set in place. The greater part of their life at Vernon will be continued in book four of this saga of the life of Rev. Ben Phelps and family.
