Believe! The Winning Mindset for Project Managers

Professional life is filled with opportunities to learn. One such opportunity is to learn from colleagues. Believe! The Winning Mindset for Project Managers is an opportunity to learn from dedicated project managers.

People who are dedicated and believe in their profession achieve amazing results because they enjoy what they do, feel positive about all activities they do, and are confident and happy with the people around them. The book shows how this is true for project professionals. It is a collection of testimonials from project practitioners who believe in project management. These practitioners are believers who defend with passion, persistence, and patience the project management profession. Their own experiences— both good and bad— provide fodder for growth and insights to illuminate ways to view the power of belief in one’s profession. The book features:

• Reasons why identifying beliefs are critical to personal and professional development
• Mindset elements that constitute beliefs
• Examples of manifesting healthy beliefs and behaviors
• Tips, techniques, tools, and lessons learned to apply every day on the job

This book is not about theory. It is about practice and is filled with real case studies, exercises, templates, and lessons learned from the trenches. It explains how belief in oneself as a project manager can accelerate personal growth and career advancement. Through harnessing the power of belief, project managers can boost their energy to accomplish more than they previously thought possible. It is also possible to be more successful in achieving project, as well as personal, goals. Belief in others can lead to greater understanding and empathy with all project stakeholders

This book is an entertaining and productive journey into project management that can lead to not only incremental improvements but also quantum shifts in lifestyle and professional achievements.
