乌石，1924年生。从1950年起先后在中学，四川大学外文学院任教五十年，于2002年以80岁高龄开始从事写作。
作品有长篇小说：《鸭梨沟》《人与狼》《被扭曲的灵魂》《芝芝姑娘》《五味人生》，以及《呜咽的沅江》《乌石国画诗歌选集》；中篇小说：《无名岛》《乌龙山寨》《江东寺 》《湘西女子师范学校大劫案》等；短篇小说：《虎虎》《寒夜悲嚎》《怪屋游魂》《老府桥××号》，以及散文，游记，诗歌，国画等近百万字，其中部分作品刊登于各报章杂志和诗刊。
作者在教学期间，曾拜四川著名画家陈子庄为师，专攻写意山水，近七年来,每年以创作参加美国华人艺术家协会在纽约举办的画展。
作者曾为成都市毛泽东诗词研究会顾问，成都市吴芳吉诗词研究会顾问，重庆市陈子庄艺术研究会会员。现为美国华人艺术家协会会员，北美中文作家协会会员。
