The world turned upside down and came to a screeching halt at the beginning of 2020 when the deadly COVID-19 virus swept across the globe and killed millions in its wake. Author Jackie A. James was diagnosed with the disease in March 2020 and was in critical condition. Not only was she diagnosed with covid-19, but also double pneumonia and the flu. But thanks to the incredible power of God and the quick medical attention from the hospital staff, she was healed.While I Was Under: Surviving Covid-19 "Thirty-Five Days of Peace" is her incredible story of diagnosis, survival, and recovery. Jackie A James is a mother of one son and two grandsons. She also has a daughter-in-law in waiting. She has been in a long-term relationship with her other half James "JT" Turner for nine years. She is an Automobile Claims Specialist, by profession and a published author by chance and gift. She has over thirty-six years in the insurance claims business. While working in the insurance industry, she was able to obtain my Senior Claims Law Designation, and became a certified Subrogation Arbitrator, for the State of New Jersey, along with several other certificates and accolades.
