Following the general election, a by-election arose in Marcy’s constituency, and she was headhunted to contest it. She won the seat.
While she was enjoying the euphoria of her election victory, her book publishers contacted her, requesting that she organize a book launch to promote the sales of her book.
Marcy’s boyfriend, Hamish, lives in Scotland, and they have been meeting in Dublin and Ayr on alternate weekends. In the light of all these recent happenings, pressure on Marcy’s time is tremendous, and she does not now know just how things may pan out.
