Washington and His Generals; Volume 2
Description
Joel Tyler Headley's classic history of the American Revolution is a gripping account of the men who led the Continental Army to victory. From George Washington's early struggles to build an effective fighting force to the heroic exploits of lesser-known generals, Headley provides a comprehensive and insightful portrait of the leaders who fought and died for American independence. This book is essential reading for anyone interested in the history of the United States and the birth of American democracy.
