Description
Will their bond be enough to survive?
**WINNER of the GOLD MEDAL READERS' FAVORITE BOOK AWARD**
Chase Ryder is a runaway, preferring to risk her life on the streets to the turmoil she experienced at home. When she stumbles upon a scruffy dog being unfairly attacked, she has no idea how her life is about to change forever. She rescues the skinny mutt, only to discover this is no ordinary dog. Beneath his scrappy exterior, he is exceptionally intelligent-human-level intelligent-with a heart of pure gold and an endearingly goofy sense of humor.
But Bandit isn't just smart...he's carrying secrets that could alter the course of humanity.
Secrets that a mysterious and powerful enemy will stop at nothing to obtain.
When they seek help from a grieving veterinarian named Sully, his clinic is destroyed by brutal mercenaries. Now the three of them find themselves plunged into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse against a relentless enemy. On the run across the country, they must unravel the mystery behind Bandit's origins and protect him at all costs, even if it means sacrificing everything.
From the creator and screenwriter of the acclaimed BBC series Spirit Warriors comes an unputdownable, action-packed adventure that will remind you why dogs are truly a man's best friend. If you were captivated by the heart of The Last of Us, moved by the unbreakable bond in Dean Koontz's Watchers, and fell in love with the soaring adventures of James Patterson's Maximum Ride, then you'll be hooked by this award-winning series.
With over 1,000 five-star reviews across retailers, readers describe the series as "perfect for dog lovers" and "the most heart-warming yet exciting series I have read."
Brace yourself for a gripping and emotional journey where the most powerful force is the one you least expect-the incredible power of a dog's unconditional love.
