Ein Diskurs im Dialog der Entwicklungspsychologie, der Psychotherapiewissenschaft, der Neuropsychologie und der klinischen Psychologie im Bezugsrahmen der Entwicklungspsychopathologie führt zu einem empirisch überprüften Gesamtmodell der Entwicklung, das Emotion, Sozialisation und Kognition integriert. Konsequenzen für die Psychotherapiewissenschaft und für die psychotherapeutische Behandlung von Erwachsenen, von Kindern und Jugendlichen und deren Eltern sind daraus ableitbar.
