Matthew 24 has been misquoted by your Church leaders. Christ didn't say it was impossible to know when He would return. It states, "Heaven and earth shall pass away...But of THAT DAY, and THAT HOUR knows no man, neither the angels, neither the Son, but the Father only." It is NOT the day of Christ's return that is unknowable as today's Church leaders would have you believe. It is the day of Heaven and Earth's destruction by Christ's Father that is not knowable. This occurs according to Scripture when the Father shows His face and Heaven and Earth flee away and no place is found for them. THIS is the day we cannot know. However, we are expected to know when Christ will return. Revelation 20:11-15. I tire of false doctrine being taught in today's pulpits. Learn the truth before it is too late.
