The theoretical foundations of automatic control of technological systems are presented, which are based on the classical concepts of the theory of automatic control, adapted to the specialty "Mechanical Engineering". For mathematical modeling of systems and processes, a mathematical apparatus was used using differential equations, transfer functions and state variables. Methods for evaluating objects using transient and frequency characteristics, the basics of synthesis of systems and objects of automatic control are considered.The book is intended for students who are trained in specializations related to cutting technology on modern CNC machines. It can be useful for teachers of the cycle of training bachelors and masters in mechanical engineering technology, design of machine tools and machines, tool production, etc.
