Then the Chakrabati's a new exotic family from Botswana, a country in Africa, move into the neighborhood. The Chakrabati's are coming to celebrate their first Thanksgiving with Caitlin and her family. Caitlin is aghast to learn that her mom has also invited the Brewsters from next door, and Podge, the worst boy in the world is coming for Thanksgiving dinner. But Caitlin and Rio have offered to shelter the flock of wild turkeys during the bomb cyclone and blizzard. Caitlin and Rio must ensure that none of their guests, especially Podge find the flock of wild turkeys sheltering in their garage.
The Thanksgiving dinner appears to be a disaster - the Chakrabatis are vegetarian, Podge is suspicious, and then when one of the flock escapes the garage to perch on the highest shelf in the dining room, a very unusual Thanksgiving celebration ensues resulting in Podge proclaiming that it is the Best Thanksgiving Ever.
But Rio is in danger. The wild turkeys warning comes true! Caitlin learns that the flock always repay their debts... even if it means taking on the most evil, criminal mastermind - MacDougal himself.
