line of Cornish Cunning Women - with a gift and burden

of a magic trunk. Tai Foon, the Golem Chinese Warrior

protects her from the Terrible Shapechanger, Captain Sharman,

who relentless pursues her and aboriginal survivors.

A cast of fantastic characters are tangled in a storyline

of the transcendent battle of good against evil -

and the pursuit of freedom in a turbulent

and remote settlement in an ancient land.
