THE SITE is a tense mind-bending novel where the investigation of dreams and a cryptic government document challenge established views of the world.

When London schoolteacher Cicely Denfeld begins experiencing vivid and disturbing dreams, she has no idea that they could foreshadow a secret reality long hidden from the public. In her dreams, Cicely lives out the experiences of American strangers Charles Ryder and Vivian Venables, agents of a Florida man who deals in secrets. Charles and Vivian are involved in recovering a secret document taken from an obscure government contractor. They are hindered by those who protect its secrets.

Distraught, Cicely seeks the help of a psychiatrist, Doctor McClellan, who treats her anxiety but soon realizes she has deeper problems, particularly if the strangers populating her dreams turn out to be real. He uses psychoanalysis to delve into her mind for a suppressed traumatic event that could explain her perplexing affliction.

While Cicely and Doctor McClellan seek to understand the bizarre dreams that plague her, Charles and Vivian, with the help of a researcher, follow a trail of hidden knowledge that could impact the entire world. Their inquiries lead them to an obscure thesis and a mysterious map. At a facility concealed in the American southwest they meet visitors from far away that carry out an otherworldly mission. None of them anticipate what happens next.
