The only other person: a boy in deerskin who speaks an ancient language, wields a bow, and may know more about what's going on than anyone from our world should ... including a nothingness, a phage, that is consuming all existence while pursuing them, leaving oblivion in its wake. Forced to team up despite their language differences, the trio takes on dwarfs, ice giants, shapeshifters, shadow creatures, giant serpents and other incomprehensible dangers while trying to unravel the mystery behind it all and restore the world before everything is gone.
