There are plenty of books on history, but to read them page by page requires patience. The main objective was to gather maximum information and to present them in minimum pages in the form of a book and to provide our earnest readers with some basic information of world history in a simple and lucid language, without conducting any litmus test on their patience. Starting from ancient civilization, the book presents information till the World War II. All information are based on authentic and reliable sources. This book not only narrates historical incidents, not only deals with wars and their consequences, but presents before the readers great leaders, kings, revolutionaries, rulers, idealists, aristocrats and dictators who have left their footprints on the pages of history. It further contains the glimpses of various ideologies and religious beliefs which has caused fraternity and fights as well among people. The style of the book may be like that of a novel or fiction, but the difference is that no information has any deviation from the paths of history.  Study of past is to reform the present and future. Any advancement in any country is nothing in the absence of peace and harmony. A heavy price has already been paid to restore peace and harmony. What the world needs is the lesson-the only lesson-the great lesson that we, the people of the world, as universal citizens, will stand united to ensure peace and harmony in every nook and corner of this globe.
