While finding his way home during a test, Willie explores a cave under a tree and falls through a wormhole to an alternative world. Willie discovers powers and new friends in a village resembling that of the Maori centuries earlier. But when Willie uses his powers to save several village children he is forced to return to his own world. He then discovers that although he spent fifty days away, he has only been gone overnight. How will Willie explain all that has happened?
