He became a proponent of the movement during 1863 as a result of seeking healing from Phineas P. Quimby, the movement's founder. Contents include: "The Mind Immaterial, But Substantial", "The Relation of the Human Mind to God", "On The Form of the Mind", "The Division of the Mind into Two Departments", "The Relation of the Intellect to the Love", "The Doctrine of Degrees", "The Spiritual Body", "On The Emanations of Mind, or Spiritual Spheres", etc. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive.
