If Australian Rick Hannaford hadn't arrived in Bangkok a day early to arrange his accommodation he'd be in class right now doing language lessons. It was a brutal bloody murder of his friend Pascale's, girl. Wrongly accused and being pursued by the police, Hannaford is also being hunted down by the Thai underworld for a case of drug money in his possession, given to him for safe keeping by the murdered girl just hours before she died. Corrupt police, dirtied by drug money, further implicate Rick in order to confuse a trail that would inevitably lead back to them. Avoiding both parties, while attempting to save the life of his kidnapped friend Pascale, becomes too much for Rick to handle alone. He enlists the help of a beautiful Thai girl and her family. Together they hatch a plan to get their mutual friend back alive.
