The Girl with Something Extra, based upon a true event, is the story of twin sisters who were separated at birth. Crystal was lovingly raised by her mother. She excelled in school, went to law school and became a lawyer. Ultimately, she ran for the office of Mayor of Phoenix and won by a landslide. The other twin, Jade, was raised by her father and the drug lords in Mexico who worked for him. Although they never knew about each other, they were connected by several murders that took place in Arizona and New York. The lead investigator in Phoenix is Detective Thomas. Thomas had been a high school classmate of the Mayor and he managed to also have a very big crush on her. She had definitely grown from a skinny, book-smart nerd into a beautiful swan in his book.
