The Gemini Protocol

In New Orleans, 3034. Detective John W. Williams (A.K.A. Duke), haunted by recurring nightmares of a fiery car crash, drowns his anxieties in medication and therapy sessions. A far cry from the happy life he once envisioned. But everything changes when his investigations throws him face-to-face with a man who looks eerily similar to him - a notorious criminal named Marcus Madison.

John's world shatters. He can't be a twin - twins are outlawed and the government instituted a one child family mandate. There is a dangerous government program known as the Gemini Protocol that utilizes twin DNA in developing an antidote to combat the effects of the Gemini Drug. This drug allows the individual taking it to temporarily transform into another person, granting access to thoughts,  memories,  and hidden desires. But the power comes at a steep cost: a single-use void of antidote can lead to rapid Alzheimer's and death.

As John delves deeper, he uncovers a chilling truth: he and Marcus are lab-created twins, their DNA the key to a cure. On the run from the government desperate for the Gemini formula, they become entangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse. John must confront Marcus, a man twisted by a harsh upbringing and a lust for absolute power, and Special Agent Lawson who is the head of a secret government agency that developed the now illegal drug.
