While reading the bible, I found the text contradicting itself many times, and I began to wonder if the events really took place as they are described in this book. For example, the bible explains that King Herod ordered for all kids up to the age of two to be slaughtered, all in hope to kill the new born Jesus Christ. We know from history, that King Herod really existed, so does that mean that the bible describes real events? Unfortunatley, many aren't aware that King Herod died in the middle of March, year 750, according to Roman calculations, but Jesus Christ was born in the year 754 (which is the first year of our era). So it turns out that King Herod died four years before Jesus Christ was even born! This means that some parts of the bible are based on the truth, while other parts are made up. There are so many contradictions in the text concerning the hero of the book, Jesus Christ, that it makes you wonder which is the truth and which isn't. Because of the many contradictions in the text, I have made my own version of the birth and life of Jesus Christ.
