A position halfway between the older, conventional approach in engineering and the current, and to some extent, formal expositions seems to be evolving. This book aims to present a descriptive account on this new emerging mediated approach in the field of polymer science for the benefit of a wide variety of readers including theorists, practitioners, researchers and students.
