The Aussie Tramps in the USA

The Aussie Tramps in the USA is Rita Campbell's observational travel memoir of her trip to North America in the late 1970s.Taking in urban centres including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Chicago and New York, as well as smaller towns and rural areas in the heartland of the US, and including a trip over the border into Canada, The Aussie Tramps in the USA is as concerned with the process of travelling as with the places visited, while also providing an entertaining look at a great nation during its recovery from a series of economic and social problems.
