Ava Jenkins' safe, secure life just revealed itself to be anything but. For starters, she is recently divorced after discovering her "devoted" husband was cheating. And her sweet son Zack? He stole a rare copy of Pride and Prejudice from their elderly neighbor, whose family is threatening to call the authorities if it's not returned. Trouble is, Zack's handed the novel to a contact to sell on the black market in Istanbul.

Growing up, Ava's mother had oversized dreams-and debts-that meant they were always on the move. So, the last thing she wants is to leave her home in LA. But she's determined to keep her 19-year-old son out of jail and return the book to its rightful owner. And unfortunately, that requires getting on a plane to another continent.

Ava's barely arrived in vibrant-if-chaotic Istanbul when Lev Bowman bumps into her at a café. It's a coincidence ... or is it? Because the guarded businessman is running security at the same book fair where she intends to reclaim the stolen book.

Lev's instantly intrigued by Ava. Still, he's vowed to ignore everything other than his company and his teenage daughter. Letting anyone in means risking revealing the secret he's determined to keep... at all costs. But when Ava doesn't return to her hotel one night, Lev lets his guard down.
