QUESTO ROMANZO ha una storia curiosa, scritto nel 1959, fu rifiutato da URANIA (Mondadori) che pure aveva pubblicato "IPERBOLE INFINITA" e "UNA STORIA DA NON CREDERE" dello stesso Autore, perchè giudicato troppo filosofico e avveniristico.Ora rileggendolo si ha una curiosa impressione, restando con la mente al 1960: si parla di curvatura dello spazio, di viaggi intergalattici, di Imperi che sorvegliano intere galassie tentando di frenare l'evoluzione di cretaure non umane, di trasmissione "simpatica" tra gli atomi di membrane, non usante quindi onde em, troppo lente, che ricorda il fenomeno dell'entanglement allora del tutto sconosciuto, di un supercomputer, universi paralleli e di un "tempo zero" a massa infinita ancora inesplorato dalla fantascienza.
