It provides a systematic analysis ofmajor external and internal influences that haveshaped Taipei's diplomatic endeavors in thepost-Yugoslav region by employing four basic levelsof analysis - the system, the state, the societal andthe individual level. This book represents one of thefirst endeavors at conducting a detailed study ofTaiwan's relations with the former Yugoslavrepublics. Accordingly, it will greatly contribute toscholarship and practice in Taiwan and China studies,diplomacy and international relations.
