The author's illustrations not only enhance the story, they also tell a few tales of their own. There are naughty mice and helpful mice, red birds and blue birds, and one young bunny who seems to get himself in some precarious situations. But Sweet Pea does not seem to notice. She is much too busy trying to get rid of TOO MANY TOMATOES!
This 48 page picture book has 36 pages of full page ink and watercolor illustrations by author/illustrator Marcia Leiter which delight readers of all ages from 1 to 101.
