Sunscreens - Biohazard 2

Due to research revealing how toxic sunscreens are to all life on the planet, Dr. Plourde felt it was crucial to update the information on sunscreen chemicals and their impact on humanity and the environment that was published in her 2012 book: Sunscreens - Biohazard: Treat as Hazardous Waste.  The most important message of Sunscreens Biohazard 2 is that sunscreens were never proven to prevent melanoma or basal cell carcinoma, yet all of the chemicals approved by the FDA are toxic.  This includes even the ones that manufacturers label as “kid-safe”, one of which is titanium dioxide is detrimental to fetal brain development, since it is not only incorporated into sunscreens, all women and young girls need to avoid using makeup with an SPF rating as it is usually titanium dioxide.  It is also in white foods, gum, candies, toothpaste, etc.  It may become the DDT of the 21st century and no one is paying attention to this toxic metal.

It is "buyer beware” as the chemicals are nothing you want to spread over the body's largest organ (skin) repeatedly, and make swimming pools toxic chemical dumps, that harm DNA and cause cancers.  A solar protective factor or SPF rating is not safe for any life form on the planet, with marine life the hardest hit as they have no choice to swim continuously in it.  

This book also brings awareness to the fact that antioxidants in foods and supplements protect the skin naturally, and allow the body to produce its vital “anti-cancer” vitamin D, which can only be manufactured in the skin upon exposure to the sun’s UV B radiation.

What we have been "told" and "sold" has been very, misleading.
