Strangers on the Shore

It's 1963. Amid the tense hum of the Cold War, five friends and one stranger gather for a cruise around the Mediterranean. For Wu Yukying, a socialite from Hong Kong, the trip promises sparkling casinos and pristine beaches-until she stumbles onto a dangerous secret involving her brother Wu Tinseng and his new companion Shan Dao.

Sucked into this treacherous game, she must stay one step ahead of an enemy who threatens Tinseng's happiness. But the deeper she gets, the clearer it becomes: Tinseng might have more than one secret to hide...

A queer romantic thriller, Strangers on the Shore explores family and how the personal can overtake the political, sometimes with deadly consequences.
