With the advent of secularism, atheism, and relativism in this modern world, author Nemsy Gubatan felt the need to bring the simple and universal tenets of the teachings of Jesus. Gubatan was born and educated in the Philippines as a Chemical Engineer and came to the United States to further his education. After he experienced Jesus Christ's personal and unconditional love during a traumatic deportation trial, he desired to give back to his rescuer and deliverer. After many years of Diaconal Training at the San Pedro Center, he was ordained a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Orlando by Bishop Thomas Grady. Now he is currently serving as a Deacon at St. Margaret Mary Church in Winter Park, Florida.
