Soaring Heights

Written in September 1978 the manuscript Soaring Heights rested in the bottom of a trunk, only to be awakened on Pentecost 2015 with the words "All the answers you're looking for are in the manuscript."  From that point on the manuscript began its journey into the world with friends and friends of friends wanting a copy. The reader's own feelings, emotions and values are brought to light as they sort through their own spiritual and secular experiences and the conflicts ensued which often bring about chaos and confusion in our journey  through life. Soaring Heights helps to bring clarity and hope to a hurting humanity lost in human suffering, to bring them back into trusting themselves and each other, and to let them know that all is not lost - that there is one who loves us beyond human understanding, and that we are His children and He has a purpose for each of us in His divine plan.Soaring Heights is Johnetta Cook's first endeavor into book publishing. A graduate of St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida, she holds a liberal arts degree in religious studies. She also attended St. Vincent DePaul Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida. Johnetta was the assistant editor of the Catholic Evangelist magazine and editor of her church newspaper, along with being a contributing author to both. Johnetta is now retired from IBM and resides in south Florida.
