So There's Hope

Since 2014 Deborah Rolt has been photographing life in East London, capturing powerful and affectionate images which speak eloquently of the daily realities of work and leisure in this colourful part of the city, with its equally kaleidoscopic people andtrans-ethnic neighbourhoods. Her photographs are distinguished by their human sympathy, featuring an eclectic mix of characters and venues - from an East End boxing club to a charity Christmas lunch which demonstrates Deborahs aesthetic flair and her ability to draw out the warmth in every scene as she captures the heart of a community.
