Shoot Your Shot

Whatever you do always pursue a relationship with God. After religion, it is imperative that we pursue to know God more. Do not ever stop searching after and seeking God. There is no way you can seek Him and not find Him Jerimiah 29:13 and ye shall seek me and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. He longs to hear from you, just as you long to hear from Him. Do not stop pursuing a personal relationship with the One who created you. So many times, we get busy with life, we listen to the demands of this world, and get sucked into doing what we must do to keep up. This is not the life God has designed for you. One of the many reasons God created us is to have a relationship with Him. I developed a personal relationship with God after experiencing some trials and difficulties that I knew only God could help me overcome. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. While I knew a lot about God all my life, it took a while to really come to know Him. It is never enough to just know about God because when tough times come, you cannot lean on your own understanding of Him. You must lean on Him. To be honest, you do not need to experience a tough situation to begin developing a personal relationship with God, you can start right now. Here is a start! Repeat this: Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. You died for my sins and God raised You from the dead. You are no longer dead. You are alive. By faith, I really believe that. I can sense You are real. I receive what You did for me. I receive You into my life. I can't deal with my own sins, but You already did. Now I need Your power to change me and transform my life. Fill me with Your Spirit. Completely submerge my life with Your Spirit and I will never be the same. In Jesus Name Amen!
