Marco Giovanno knew he'd found 'the one' in Samantha Stevenson, the problem was her ex-boyfriend has decided that he wants her back. Trying to keep her safe while trying to get his new business off of the ground was tough, though. Because her ex has turned stalker. He couldn't blame the guy, because she was pretty damned spectacular and he'd fight for her too, but he took things to the extreme and worried the heck out of Marco. What scared him more, however, was the suspicion that maybe she was giving the man mixed signals because she insists on trying to talk to him.

Samantha Stevenson wondered how many times she had to tell the man to get lost, before it finally sank in. She felt like her ex-boyfriend might just set the record. She needed him to understand it was over so she could see where her budding relationship with Marco Giovanni would go, but her new stalker wasn't giving her an inch. Sam has to going as far as getting restraining orders, because he just can't take a hint that it's over. It was time for her to be blunt, hurt feelings or not, but the creepy note he left for her at her best friend's wedding gave her pause. He has gone off the deep end and into full stalker mode. didn't think he would hurt her, but new information from her father lets her know just how far he might go to get to her.
