This book is an English commentary on a prayer known as the'Salok Mahallā Nouvān' which are the stanzās by the ninthGurū, Srī Gurū Tegh Bahādur Jī. This prayer is read at thecompletion of the Akhānd Pāth or the closing of prayers fromthe Srī Gurū Granth Sāhib Jī. This prayer is used to invoke asentiment of dispassion within both the reader and the listenerto detach from this world and focus upon the name of God.
