In the Day of Thy Power is an effort to demonstrate the rule of God, particularly defined as revival. Evangelism should be the normal for the church; however, when God shows a glimpse of His power, the fish seem to just jump in the boat! Revival is not taught, but caught. That's what this book is all about. Honestly, writing this series from my own view and experiences seems like "speaking of things too wonderful for me" (Job 42:3). Even though God has chosen to involve us in His wonders, they are difficult to define. The rapid changes of environment let me rediscover what I already knew: my weakness was turned into strength by the power of the Spirit (2 Corinthians 12:10). We must never forget that Jesus went down to the valley of ministry after He was on the Mount of Transfiguration. Let's do the same.
