Rothers of Darkness and Light - Book III

Princess Willowen awakens to find herself Darkmor's prisoner. She remembers the awful confrontation in Sirlyk's banqueting hall. Fearing that Silveron is dead, she resigns herself to remaining Darkmor's captive. The Princess knows that he only keeps her alive for her powers as a Shaper of Stone. The sorcerer means to take these and use them to obtain the magic from the Starstone. Willowen vows to defy him. When she learns that Silveron still lives, she is filled with hope and resolves to resist Darkmor until the wizard comes and rescues her.

Meanwhile, Silveron himself is with the Army of Light. They are advancing towards Darkmor's stronghold, intending to lay siege to it. After speaking to King Anarys about Goldwen's plan of stealthily invading the tower and finding the Talisman of Banishment, the wizard is filled with doubt. Can he succeed in such a task? Can he rid Erathyn of Darkmor's evil? Can he rescue Willowen from the sorcerer's clutches? As he and a small group of companions leave the army and go on this desperate mission, the Army of Light advances until it comes into contact with the enemy's forces.

As the battle rages on, Silveron and his friends find themselves lost in a bewildering maze. Above them Anarys and his army are hard pressed by the sorcerer's forces, which include many of the warriors who had been struck down by the Spell of Stasis that Malkaar had used upon them centuries ago. Darkmor has released them from the spell, and turned warriors who were once part of the Army of Light themselves against their former allies. With this group is Queen Nerolynn, the Elven-Kings wife. Will he fight against her? Will his warriors fight against their former brothers? Time is running out. Will Silveron succeed, or will Darkness reign triumphant?
