Description
When the beautiful Brit Morrison stumbles upon Rori Reade in a hole in the ground, little does she realize just how entwined their lives would become. Rescued from the pit and then disappearing again, this time with Brit, Rori can't or won't remember the reason that he was kidnapped in the first place.
Forced into a marriage for unknown reasons, Brit refuses to acknowledge it, insisting that it can't be legal. Finally confronted with the truth, Brit and Rori move forward with their investigation despite the danger that is all around them. While trying to come to terms with their marriage, they are also trying to come to terms with their growing love for one another.
With the family, friends, and the police detectives, they move slowly towards the answers as to why and who, not realizing just how close to Rori's family that this person is and it really isn't about Rori's work as a glass blower or Brit's as a gemologist.
