Rising From The Dust

There comes a time in every person's walk with God that we are handed a circumstance in which we do not understand. We ask questions such as, "Why?" The death of my daughter and other circumstances brought me to a really low point of life. I struggled with knowing if God was really there.  If he was there did he really care about me? I was in a place in which I couldn't understand that God or anyone could love me. I was unworthy of God's love.  I discovered the amazing love of God through people God had placed in my life.I want to reach out to anyone who has experienced times of tragedy and are searching for "something" that is real. That "something" is God. I want to introduce to you the man who has taken my broken heart and molded the pieces back together. My heart no longer has cracks and crevices in it; my heart is filled with the love of God.    About Rebekah DunleaI am currently employed as an Area Supervisor for a fast food restaurant. I have been with this company for fifteen years. I worked four years in Oregon, Illinois and eleven years in Virginia. I was a restaurant manager for ten of those fifteen years. In 2014, I was awarded the Outstanding Restaurant Manager of the year award. I am currently attending Liberty University to earn my degree in biblical studies and theology! Rising From The Dust is my first book. I wrote it in hopes of encouraging hurting women to overcome their own losses. I also hope that this book will give men, who may have women in their lives who have experienced losses, insight and understanding of the emotions ladies go through when tragedy occurs.
