Cautiously, she reached for a bottle of hand-soap (transparent yellow with the appearance of bubbles throughout it) lifting it overtop of the insect while she turned open the cap and then, with excruciating slowness (she had the growing impression the insect was aware of her motivation) pouring a good amount of the contents out, covering the insect, which only for a moment moved (a twitch one way and then the other) eventually the antennae bending, rested on the surface of the soap.
